Foods to AVOID to reduce your inflammation:

junk food
high-fat meats
high-fat dairy products

fast food
sugar
unhealthy fats & oils
trans fats
saturated fats
processed meats (like hot dogs & sausage)

nitrates (found in bacon, ham, etc)
soda/pop/soft drinks

pastries
presweetened cereals
candy

refined carbohydrates (flour, sugar)

Foods that help to REDUCE inflammation:

water (lot’s of it)
low fat or fat-free dairy products

lean cuts of meat, poultry or fish
healthy oils (like walnut, olive & grape seed)
healthy fats (like nuts)
spices (like, tumeric, ginger, garlic or oregano)
fresh fruit (pineapple, papaya, berries, tart cherries)
fresh vegetables (brightly colored & green leafy)
more water :)
high fiber foods

nuts (walnuts, etc)
soy products (tofu or low fat soy milk)
whole grains (high in fiber)
